What... what have I done...?

koujectI have just committed a dire cosplay sin. I'll break it down in a simple formula.
1 Pair of Goggles + Fabric Scissors = Goggle Lenses x2 (performed at home. Next couple of formulas took place in the past seven hours)
Bolt of Brown Fabric + Regular (not fabric) Scissors = Handful of Brown Fabric Scraps
Handful of Brown Fabric Scraps + Goggle Lenses x2 + Hot Glue for Wood = Rikku goggles.
>____< I didn't even use a sewing machine! I GLUED STUFF TOGETHER! AHHHH!
...oh well. At least I got 2 of 38 tasks done! ^^ But I got wood glue everywhere... -_-
Tasks Left--
Make green armbands w/ black belts
Make elbow brace (anyone got a black long-sleeved shirt they don't want/need anymore? ^^ Preferably a slightly stretchy one?)
Buy black bike gloves
Attach red X to glove
Buy tan suedecloth and mustard fabric
Make large left-hand glove with suedecloth
Buy belt (I'm heading to Tar-jayh tomorrow for this. My cousins gave me a giftcard for graduation! ^^)
Color belt red (if not already red...)
Put mustard fabric and buttons on belt
Cut out holster pattern (drawn today)
Make holster (Easier said than done... T_T)
Cut out bag pattern
Make bag
Attach buckle to bag
Buy off-white knee socks (Again, Tar-jayh)
Buy feathers (No, you can't eat these Alice.)
Color feathers (No one is going to have yellow feathers with orange down. No one.)
Make shoe straps (the green ones)
Attach shoe straps/buckles to socks
Attach buckles to shirt
Make 6 more silver tabs for the shirt belts
Cut out disks (the ones on the back of her shirt)
Spraypaint disks silver (...K-chan...? ^.^ I love you...)
Cut flower design in ribbons
Line ribbon with blue thread
Attach ribbons to disks
Attach disks to shirt
Make mithra ears out of tan suedecloth
Find Rogue's earrings (or Shinobi) (Another Target thing)
Find Rogue's ring (or Shinobi)
Find Windurstian Ring
Register (the Visa card's home! er, I mean, Dad's home!)
Take boning OUT of bodice
Buy mithra makeup
Color the end of the mithra tail
And that, as they say, will be that. Eight days.
New mantra: I am the Cosplay master, I am the Cosplay master...

Maybe if I flash the proof of purchase and some leg, they'll give me my stupid badge. :P And I didn't need Dad with me last time we got our badges. Whatever. -_-;;
