So, I spent a HUGE WAD of cash on costuming stuff today. And I didn't even buy that much... T_T

Belt - $16 (But I LOVE IT SO!! *hugs life out of belt*)
Mithra makeup - $3
Socks - $4 (Have to tea-dye them...)
Bobby pins - $6.50 (Claire's. need I say more? The most expensive inconsequential item.)
Champaigne gloves - $10 (Again, Claire's.)

At least I don't have to make gloves anymore... O_o; I wasn't looking forward to that. Niki, help me stuff my glove! T_T

Hmm... well, it all depends on what you're up for! I would suggest cosplaying as something you *like*. ^^ heh heh. We're doing a FFX group, with Jessie as Sephiroth, if that gives you any ideas.

Plus, since you're a first-timer, (^_~) you should pick something you're comfortable in, so you can enjoy the con. AX2003, we all went as Love Hina. (Me-Shinobu, Niki-Naru, Jessie-Haruka, Kristin-Su.) Those costumes were pretty much regular clothes. If you want to do something a *bit* more complicated, that's alright. I just wouldn't suggest dressing up as, oh, a mecha or something. ^.^ But if you want a Final Fantasy costume, I can certainly help you pull one together quick! ^_^

Oh! and keep in mind--no live-steel weapons. O_o; don't bring a katana or anything like that.... if you own something like that... *sigh* Rambling.
