Today... was a HORRIBLE Day...

Okay, I'm done.
So, how many of you have gotten your schedules? (Counts hands) Uh-huh... uh-huh... How many of them were screwed up? (Beat) All of them? Really? NO KIDDING!!
Right now, my schedule is SO messed up. I didn't get ANYTHING that I wanted. I wanted Shakespeare, Creative Writing, and AP Envir. Sci. right? Well, I GOT Psychology, Philosophy, and Anatomy! WHAT THE HECK?! It's like they're trying to cram Man-Kind down my throat when I want LITERATURE. Come on people, I'm trying to MAJOR in Literature... -_- Makes me wonder what the Guidance office was doing all year. They've majorly screwed up this time...
What's more is that I'm taking Crit. Comp. this summer SO I CAN TAKE CREATIVE WRITING. So this rolled over REALLY well with my parents. Mom's calling the school tomorrow and we all know that she's going to raise Cain.
Now, you might say, "Serenity, aside from your schedule, this day doesn't seem too bad. Why is this post called 'Today... was a HORRIBLE Day...' if it really wasn't horrible?" Ahhh... listen my children...
So, I woke up around 10:30 today, ready to work on the kimono that I HAVE to finish/start. Mom bought me this really nice purple brocade with dragons all over it. I cut the back piece, I cut the front piece. Now, there's no fabric for the sleeves. I started to cry. Fortunately, I was able to make the sleeves shorter/smaller so that I don't have to buy another $20 of fabric. Then... the mail came...
SAT scores! And ACT scores! (Measly 28... blah...) A cheerful reminder that I SUCK AT MATH.
Oh, Love's Labours Lost was awesome. It was funny, but it felt unfinished. Why did Shakespeare have to die?! T_T
I want to play Sphinx again... or crawl back in bed... or go talk to Zach... I wanna cry on someone's shoulder...

Date: 2004-06-26 11:53 pm (UTC)I had to work on my (practice) kimono as well. Dear God. Could there BE any more fabric in that thing? The cotton is heavy when the thing's put together; what's a heavy embroidered silk going to be like? Oh well.
